KaiHua JinXin Building Materials Introduces Guifei Red Granite Permeable Paver, Combining C30 Strength with Effortless Installation

The Guifei Red paver is manufactured using natural colored sand and high-grade cement through a proprietary process, resulting in a surface with a fine, stone-like texture that closely replicates natural granite. The material achieves a compressive strength above C30, exceeding the industry reference of C25, and a flexural strength of 5.5 MPa against a standard of 3.4 MPa. Its permeability coefficient reaches 1.1 mm/s, more than ten times the 0.1 mm/s industry benchmark, while the water retention rate exceeds 30 percent compared with a 15 percent standard. Abrasion resistance is rated at 30 or below, compared with a 35 benchmark, and skid resistance measures at BPN 66 or higher against a 60 standard.

Installation follows the same method as natural granite paving, requiring no specialized skills or equipment. After preparing the permeable concrete base layer, a semi-dry mortar screed with approximately 15 percent cement content is applied, followed by point bonding of the paver using pure cement paste or tile adhesive at the corners. For larger panels, bonding points of about three square centimeters are placed at intervals of 300 mm along the edges. The pavers are then tapped level in the same manner as stone installation. This point-bonding approach preserves the permeability of the surface while creating a bond stronger than conventional full-bed cement mortar, reducing the risk of detachment and allowing the finished surface to support light vehicle traffic when the base is stable.

The Guifei Red color adds a decorative option for landscape architects and municipal planners working on pedestrian walkways, plazas, parking areas, residential roads, and riverbank embankments. The paver is available in standard dimensions including 300×600×60 mm, 300×300×60 mm, 200×400×60 mm, and 200×200×60 mm, with other sizes produced to order. Surface treatments include matte, brushed, and lychee finishes.
